Homepage

“Live and learn” is a redundancy. Live is Learn.

I write about journeys, outdoor life, unique shelters, building ideas, and reflections from a life in progress.

This is my personal homepage. It is where I keep notes from the road, field, workshop, screen, and books. Some notes are practical. Others are personal. Together, they help me understand how I move, build, think, and live.

I am interested in routes, trains, hiking trails, domes, cabins, geometry, useful systems, and the quiet lessons found along the way.

This site is not only a blog. It is a record of what I am learning while building a different way to live.

Start Here

If you are new here, begin with the main paths below.

Journeys: Travel notes from Kenya, East Africa, and beyond. I write about train rides, road trips, routes, costs, and what movement reveals.

Outdoors: Hiking, camping, trails, mountains, forests, and time in the field. This is where I document the physical side of experience.

Unique Shelters: Domes, cabins, glamping, campsites, nomadic architecture, and alternative living spaces. I am interested in how shelter shapes life.

Build Notes: Geometry, tools, materials, websites, systems, and experiments. These are notes on how ideas become useful things.

Reflections: Books, poems, music, history, personal essays, and observations. This is where I keep the quieter parts of the journey.

The Thread

The things I write about may look different at first.

Travel. Hiking. Shelters. Geometry. Books. Websites. Poems.

But they all come from the same place.

I want to understand how to live with more attention, skill, freedom, and ownership.

Systems over guesswork. Ownership over dependency. Building over consuming.
